Jailton was born and raised in Brazil and began 12 years old to practice circus in a Social Circus project in Brazil. As a 16-year-old, Jailton began educating street children and young people in the new circus.
Jailton has 30 years of circus experience and toured worldwide as a professional aerial acrobat with Cirque du Soleil for nine years. He has breadth and excellence in so many circus techniques and also certification and extensive experience in rigging.
Jailton has extensive experience in pedagogy; he also teaches groups of children with functional variations and is responsible for the training of Cirkus Unik’s educators together with Elin Lütke. Jailton is an Alumni in Reach for Change.
